Thanks to donations from caring and generous private citizens who are friends of the Paracas Museum in the United States and other countries, we are now educating a new generation of Wisdom Keepers here in Peru. These two students are the first to be taught by Sr. Juan Navarro about the myriad of ancient cultures of the area.

Their knowledge and awareness of the history of the area will boost their own cultural pride as well as aid in educating Peruvian and foreign visitors.

Sr. Juan and Daniel on a recent tour of the adobe temple near Paracas.

Sr. Victor Huaraca teaching local people the ceramic arts of the Paracas culture. This art form has not been expressed for 2000 years, and the Mayor, Miguel Castillo, has set aside financing for this worthy cultural cause, which may result in local arts of the area being available for commercial sale to visiting Peruvian and international tourists.
